From March 28, 2011 :
Weekly Rates:
(For first child in family/the child attending the Centre for the most hours).
0 to 24 hours a week: $7.50 an hour
25 to 29 hours a week: $5.90 an hour
30 to 40 hours a week: $4.75 an hour
The second child in the family, using the lesser number of hours, pays a flat fee of $5.00 an hour
Maximum charge of $200.00 per week for 40+ hours attended
Minimum booking = 3 hours.

Cancellations will be effective for the total time that the child/children are normally enrolled for that day. Any cancellation for less than the total time will result in the full booking being charged.
Permanent enrolments:
- You are entitled to 20 free days a year pro rata (see table below), this includes holidays, and single days cancelled.
- The cancellation must be made seven days prior to the booked date, if not full fees will be charged.
- After the free days have been used up you will pay full fees for subsequent days cancelled.
Change of Booking:
- If you want to change your permanent booking you are required to advise the Centre in writing
- You can only change your permanent booking if there are spaces available and you may have to go on the Waiting List until a space becomes available.
Pro rata:
If your child is booked in for:
0 – 10 hours a week you are entitled to 5 free days a year
10- 20 hours a week 10 free days a year
20 – 30 hours a week 15 free days a year
30 plus hours a week 20 free days a year
Illness:
- No fee will be charged for up to 10 sick days a year – pro rata, if you notify the Centre the day before or by 9am on the day. After that you will be charged full fees.
- Cancellations must be written down on the cancellation sheet on the front desk. Written confirmation of absences is a Ministry of Education requirement.

- Fees are not charged for statutory holidays.
- Fees must be paid weekly.
- Accounts are emailed to you or put into your child’s NAMED POCKET (For the Tuis, these are hanging in the foyer; look just inside the entrance door for the Pre-school). If you do not receive your account please enquire at the office.
- Fees may be paid in cash, by cheque, eftpos, automatic payment, or internet banking.
- Payments can NOT be made by Credit Card/VISA
Fees that are not paid in full within two weeks of the due date will result in:
- Your child’s booking being cancelled
- The debt being passed over to the Debt collection agency and you being liable for any collection costs.

Changes to fee rates and policies
- Management reserves the right to change the fee rates and policies of the Centre. Parents and staff will always receive written notification on any changes, via newsletters and notices.
- New policies will be clearly displayed, while any old notices are taken down and destroyed (or clearly identified as superseded, dated and kept in a suitable archive file).
- New rates and policies will apply to parents/children already enrolled or previously quoted from the date of the notice, unless otherwise specified. This schedule and these policies will be the ones quoted to and applied to the fees charged.
Financial assistance
There is a childcare subsidy available from Work and Income New Zealand (WINZ) for families with children attending Early Childhood Centres.
Ask at the office for a pamphlet on how to apply for the subsidy, or pick one up at the local Work and Income office in Shotover Street, Queenstown.
